Beautiful nose of toasted almond and white peach. Lovely contrasts carry through on a full-bodied palate. Stunning with roast chicken or pasta in cream sauce or lobster in butter.

Bethann McLaren rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Gorgeous intense and full-bodied, balanced by refreshing but well-integrated acidity. Ripe apricot, passionfruit and pineapple. Honey and ginger work their way into the flavour profile as well. Buttery with bready notes and a creamy, rounded mouth feel. A really terrific Chenin overall.
Paarl grapes in precisely-oaked example. 10 mélange fruit; noticeable barrel-derived aromas/flavours for complexity, texture. Score: 4 (out of 5) Source: Tasting panel, Platter’s South African Wine Guide, 2012
