Graffigna Grand Reserve Malbec 2006
Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 5, February 26, September 11 and July 26.
Graffigna Grand Reserve Malbec 2006 Wine Review
Gorgeous velvet texture with layers of lovely, luscious black fruit. Smoke and some spices wrap around the core and lengthen the finish. Balanced, full-bodied and absolutely delicious! 4.4/5 Malbec food pairings: grilled red meats, seasoned dishes, pastas with light sauces, soft cheeses.

|The Graffigna Grand Reserve wines are produced with grapes from the Pedernal Valley in the San Juan province, 1,400 meters high, with a temperature range of more than 20°C. These conditions result in great varietal expression with well-defined and concentrated colours and bouquets.|
Deep red and ruby colour with traces of violet. The nose displays plum, black cherry and blackberry fruits. There are also tertiary notes which make this wine complex and attractive, with hints of vanilla, sweet spices, chocolate and mocha.
