With it's raisin and black cherry flavours this Zinfandel reminds me of when I first fell in love with red wine. Zinfandel has an ability to fill your mouth and nose with intense dark fruit jam notes. It's such an intoxicating feeling the only response is to cup the glass and go in for more. But the best part is savoring how long the wine lasts in your mouth. I love this Zinfandel with a NY striploin steak with a spicy pepper rub on it.
|Spicy fruit cake, raspberry butter on rye, and faint dried meat aromas with a silky fruity medium-to-full body and a juicy choke cherry jam finish with balancing fine tannins. A stellar pizza wine.
