Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards Pinot Noir Chardonnay
Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 5, February 26, September 11 and July 26.
Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards Pinot Noir Chardonnay Wine Review
Lovely crisp notes of field strawberries and raspberries on the nose. Frothy, persistent and refreshing. A beautiful jeweled tone of light pink. 4.6/5 Pinot Noir Chardonnay food pairings: shellfish, crab, roasted chicken, sushi, seasoning affinities include lemon grass, fennel, white pepper, hard aged and triple crème cheeses with Meyer lemon compote.

|The Sonoma Brut has been carefully crafted entirely from hand-harvested Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. Over forty different selections of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are planted on our 340-acre estate in the Sonoma Carneros district. It is this viticultural diversity that allows us to consistently produce cuvées with complexity and clear fruit expression. The Brut is dominated by Pinot Noir, a stylistic decision enabling the complex aromatic and palate profile that this red-skinned grape contributes to Brut cuvées. Delicate pear and floral notes backed by toasty almond. On the palate, one finds lively citrus, toast and apple flavors overlaid with persistent effervescence, a creamy mid-palate and toasty finish.|
