Natalie's Score: 89/100

Very pleasing, very balanced Sauvignon Blanc with refreshing notes of lemon, lime, chives and lemongrass. No heavy oak or smoke. Completely, utterly refreshing. The grapes for Geyser Peak’s Sauvignon Blanc grow in cool climate vineyards throughout California. The winery uses only stainless steel tanks for fermentation to preserve fruit freshness. Pair with spinach quiche.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: shellfish, chicken and sage skewers, fresh tomato and basil salad, pan-fried freshwater fish.

Reviews and Ratings

Founded in 1880 by winemaker Augustus Quitzow, Geyser Peak became California's 29th bonded winery and is located in the heart of Sonoma County's Alexander Valley. Racy acidity with a lively acacia nettle character, this Sauvignon Blanc is fresh. - Community Wine Reviews
