Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 5, February 26, September 11 and July 26.
Georges Duboeuf Gamay 2007 Wine Review
A playful light red with fresh notes of ripe red cherries, raspberries and strawberries. Good mouth-awakening acidity gives the wine extra vibrancy. This is a terrific wine for those who find many reds too heavy or alcoholic. I won't promise that you won't get a hangover if you overindulge, but it's a lovely sipper throughout an evening and will pair with both light meat dishes and meaty fish dishes. 4.3/5 Gamay food pairings: Korean food, cold meats, fried chicken, smoked salmon sandwiches.

|Malcolm Lamont WSET Adv rated this wine as 4.6/5 with the following review:|
This clear wine has a medium purple colour with fast moving tears, and clean medium- developing aromas of dark cherry, cedar, blueberry, violet, cinnamon, and chai tea.
It is dry with medium acidity, tannins, alcohol and body. It has a medium flavour intensity of dark cherry, strawberry jam, cedar, cinnamon, and raspberry.
Nicely, it has a medium+ length on the clean warming finish.
