Natalie's Score: 91/100

Gorgeous apricot preserves, orange marmalade and peach jam aromas. Rich and luscious; perfect dessert wine. Some caramel and cinnamon on the finish. Opulent and seductive.

Vidal Icewine food pairings: dried or fresh fruit, mild cheeses, pastries or custards or after dinner drink on its own.

Naturally frozen on the vine, our 2009 Vidal Icewine is decadent and exotic. This Icewine is filled with baked pear, caramel and spice notes balanced with nice acidity.
Concentrated and opulent, yet finishes clean with a long aftertaste of apricot and honey.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
