Intense lemon vibrancy on the nose and palate, which also offers green apple tartness. Assertive mouth-watering acidity. Crisp and refreshing with nuances of long wispy grass in a fresh spring rain. Finishes with green apple and lime tang. Try it with vegetarian dishes. This Californian Sauvignon Blanc is produced by a winery founded in 1981 by John Williams and Larry Turley.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: bell peppers, cheeses, shellfish, Caesar salad, corned beef and cabbage.

Reviews and Ratings

From Frog's Leap in the Napa Valley this Sauvignon Blanc comes from the Rutherford AVA in Napa California. This SB is intense ripe apple, lime-citrus zest and fresh mowed hay on the nose and palate. The wine is nervy with acidity. Perfect pairing with a hot summer day. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
