|Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:|
A very good Sauvignon Blanc from Loire, France. Pale lemon-green colour with med+ aromas of green apple, lemon zest, white blossom, honey, juniper, vegetal, wet wool and minerality. Typical "cat Pee" aromas evaporate as wine warms up a little.
We don't often comment on tannin in a white wine but this Pouilly-Fume has some mild waxy tannins.
XD and medium-bodied with flavours of green apple, gooseberry, honey, honeysuckle, pear, white pepper, vanilla, and herbs de Provence. Well balanced with a long mouthwatering finsih. Great value at $19.95
Serve well chilled. Pairings: oysters, goat cheese croustini with herbs, fish

Pale gold in colour with pronounced aromas of lily of the valley, honeycomb, and grapefruit, the palate delivers additional flavours of lime, honey, green apple, and passion fruit over a stony minerality.
The flavours linger on the refreshing finish.
Enjoy today, or keep until 2015.
Pair with goat cheese, summer salads, and seafood.
Date tasted: February 2014.
|Aromas of lime, apple and a flinty smokiness on the nose. Quite an appealing wine on the palate with clearly articulated replays. Dry and crisp. This is an AC-designated wine. Source: Vintages Wine Ratings and Reviews, June 2013|
