Bone-dry and refreshing with bright lemon notes. Medium-bodied. Great aperitif or companion to shellfish. Amazing price.

Jane Staples Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Lovely pear and citrus with a touch of rose...mouth-watering acidity...long pear finish.
Value doesn't get any better at $14.95. Superb with buttery scallops or garlic shrimp.
Sean O'Regan Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Oct 18, 2013: Clear bright pale yellow with green tint. Good aroma intensity showing apple, pear, honeydew mellon, grassy notes and some lees. Mouthwatering acidity, replaying green pear, green apple, stony minerality and citrus notes on a medium light body leading to a lingering green pear and pleasant bitter grapefruit finish. Nicely balanced and refreshing, this would work well with pan fried fish or herbed chicken.
Pear, garden herbs, white roses and citrus aromas and flavours delight the senses in this fresh and vivacious Verdejo. There’s also a superb lemon-grapefruit tang that surfs the backbone of crisp acidity. Lightly chill and enjoy with lake fish, sea scallops, or grilled lemon chicken.
