For the price this is a very good value chardonnay. It has aromatics of a very rich, ripe chard that has seen some oak treatment. Lots of tropical fruit, toasty notes, with a mix of medium acidity and a medium body make this a very balanced wine. Perfect with lighter dishes with cream sauces.

I lOve Flatrock wines. No secret there. I have to admit that I chose this bottle for the label. Marketing does work!
Medium lemon colour. Medium+ intensity aromas. Baked apple pie, sweet spices ( nutmeg, cinnamon), butter, pear, smoke. Palate is pleasing with added notes of wood smoke, banana peel. Acidity is fresh and balanced with fruit. Medium+ creamy finish. Drink now.
Grilled chicken, grilled pear salad,

|Big, rich Chard from the warm 2010 vintage packed with aromas and flavours of applesauce, fresh pear, grilled pineapple, smoke and buttered popcorn. Ripe, plump and juicy in the mouth with a nice combo of sunny fruit and smoky notes. Unabashed voluptuous style. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, July, July 2013|
