Reviews and Ratings

rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is a wine made predominantly with Tempranillo grape. This used to be a grape that in my earlier years I used to like but then found there wasn't too much body to it. This wine reverses my opinion. This is a delightful young wine made by  a relatively young vineyard, but this wine tastes mature and definitely one of my gems at $21.45.
This is a deliciously rich wine, black cherries are the first note on the palate followed by wondrous dark plums. The wine opens up with spices and then a hint of espresso before a hint of tobacco introduces itself. The tannins are text book perfection. This intense wine is well structured, present but not over powering!
Bottoms up!

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
