|Holly Bruns rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:|
Lemon, pink grapefruit, minerals, rose, sweet apple - this wine has a nice blend of aromas that lead into a spicier, honey kissed flavour and a long, full finish. Nicely balanced and lots there to enjoy.
|This wine won the award for the Best Viognier at the 2012 Cuvée Awards. Alluring aromas of nectarine, sweet spring flowers and spiced poached pear provide segue to a creamy-textured explosion of palate-coating flavours. This is concentrated and brimming with depth and complexity; honey-infused musk melon, apple crumble and marzipan run rampant over the palate and lingering aftertaste. Amidst this array of texture and charm, there’s balance and a refreshing finish. Winemaking wizard, Richie Roberts, waves his magic wand. Score: 5 (out of 5) Source: Vic Harradine, winecurrent.com|
