Fielding Estate Winery Viognier 2011
Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 5, February 26, September 11 and July 26.
Fielding Estate Winery Viognier 2011 Wine Review
Soft and floral with lots of field daisies on the nose. Medium-bodied with a mouth-filling viscosity. Lemon lift through the mid-palate with some delicious red apple on the finish. This wine won the award for the Best Viognier at the 2012 Cuvée Awards. The winemaker is Richie Roberts. 4.4/5 Viognier food pairings: roast pork.

|A lovely and fragrant wine on the nose, with peach, nectarine and golden russet apple along with a touch of mineral. Sunny and generous with a beautiful texture and ripe fruit throughout, and more mineral playing on the finish. Source: VINTAGES Wine Panel, Jan. 2013.|
