This is the magnum size format of this wine, equivalent to two regular sized bottles. A full-bodied Napa Valley red wine made from the region's classic Cabernet Sauvignon grape. Benchmark aromas of blackberry, black currant and cassis along with toasty oak. Polished tannins with a long finish. This Napa Valley Cabernet delivers in the glass with enticing dark fruit aromas and a robust body and texture on the palate. Perfect for prime rib.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: grilled lamb chops, Asian chicken salad, pork tenderloin, hodge-podge.

Reviews and Ratings

Faust, Quintessa (2013) is so named after German poet, Goethe's famous story about an ageing Dr. Faust who bargains his soul for everlasting youth through Mephistopheles, an agent for Lucifer. Spoiler alert: in the end Dr. Faust's soul is redeemed by everlasting love. A lot of love went into this robust, elegant and full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon from California's Napa Valley. Perfect for prime rib. - Community Wine Reviews
