Lovely, especially for the price! Rich and round with green apple aromas and a toasty goodness. The grapes for this chardonnay were handpicked and then the wine was barrel-fermented for extra creaminess and texture. There's some golden lemon notes on the finish. Leaves you longing for more.

Chardonnay food pairings: broccoli mornay, cheese fondue, planked salmon, sea bass in a cream sauce, turkey, vegetable stir-fry.

Hand-picked and 100% barrel fermented, this is a profoundly rich Chardonnay that will suggest coconut, vanilla, apple and melon in a creamy style. Though Famiglia Bianchi is not gentle with their use of oak, it is skillfully applied and exquisitely balanced by the racy acidity and superb fruit to create a hefty, and tasty, wine. Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
