More Wine Reviews and Ratings

rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Oct 24, 2013: Medium ruby, the nose showing candied cherry, red berry, earthy, mushroom notes and sweet baking spice. The palate is sour cherry, cranberry with some minerality, medium light body with fine integrated tannins lifted by good acidity to carry the medium sour cherry finish. Should be a very food friendly wine.
The 2011 growing season in Oregon has been called a "miracle vintage" since the forecast in autumn called for solid rain, yet sunny conditions stretched throughout September and October and allowed for the longest ripening times in the region's history. Canadian-born winemaker Isabelle Meunier has created an elegant Pinot with deep plum and berry fruit showing the character of the vintage nicely, en route to a smoky finish. Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
