Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A red blend of mainly Shiraz and Cab Sauv with small amounts of Grenache, Mourvedre, Cinsault and Viognier. Aromas of ripe strawberries, raspberries lead to a palate that gives strawberry, raspberry, slight herbal, mint and vegetal touches with slight bitterness.
Wineboy rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

The berry flavours build along with a bit of the South African earthy character mid palate. There is a smack of dryness to finish the wine.
This full-bodied South African red wine is a blend of 61% Shiraz, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Grenache, 4% Mourvèdre, 4% Viognier and 4% Cinsault grapes. The famous golfer owns this winery. Finishes with black pepper and wild raspberry. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
