Fleshy ripe blackberry and black raspberry aromas on the nose that fills out with dark spices, smoke and dried herbs. Lots of sweet black fruit on the palate followed by a dry, clean finish. Pair with hearty meat dishes.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: gourmet burgers, meaty pasta dishes.

Reviews and Ratings

Rich aromas of chocolate pudding, spicy pear tart, and cherry soufflé with a soft, fruity-yet-dry medium body and a tangy, toffeed nut, spice and earth finish with chewy tannins. An interesting lighter and exotically fruity cabernet. Highly recommended. Score: 89 Source: Tastings.com, Sept. 25, 2012

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
