A crisp, refreshing and medium-bodied Chilean white wine made from the Sauvignon Blanc grape. More citrus lime than grassy and herbal. Pair with shellfish and seafood. This wine label is owned by Manjit Minhas, one of the judges on the television show Dragon's Den (thus the name), and her brother Ravinder.

Reviews and Ratings

Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Fresh lime and fresh herbal aromas carry through on the palate, with a tangy citrus finish.
Wonderful with light salads and seafood.
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Behind most wines there is a story. This Sauv. Blanc comes from a winery in Chile owned by "Dragon's" Den Minhas and her brother Ravinder. Their original foray into adding wine to their successful beer and spirits business was not exactly the success they hoped for and caused a few "Tears" - hence the label name! Since then they have figured it out and this is a very drinkable Sauvignon Blanc from the Casablanca Valley. Light and aromatic; not quite as grassy as a New Zealand wine with aromas of lemon and lime. Fresh acidity with citrus flavours and a medium finish. Tasted May 2017
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

A vivid and fresh Sauv Blanc with lime zest and lemon the dominant aromas and flavours and a hint of nuttiness in the background. Light bodied, great with summer salads.
