This fresh German white wine made from classic Riesling grapes has lots of minerality and lemon freshness. Medium-bodied with terrific refreshment in this classic German Riesling. Beautiful peach blossom nose then a surprising, but delightful, juicy, mouth-watering attack on the palate that is ultra-refreshing. Pair with fresh seafood or spicy dishes.

Riesling food pairings: sushi with extra wasabi, roast chicken, spicy pasta dishes, baby greens salad, feta cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

Luc Delorme rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Quite aromatic initially with floral orange blossom notes overshadowing the underlying lemon and lime aromas. On the palate, this medium sweet wine still lets significant acidity through with crisp yet smooth impressions of lemon and apricot. Light-bodied, with a short to medium finish of apricot. A very good example of a classic German riesling.
This fresh German white wine made from classic Riesling grapes has lots of minerality and lemon freshness. Blue Slate Riesling Kabinett ( 2015) is medium-bodied wine with classic Riesling freshness and is made by famed winemaker and producer, Dr. Loosen. Pair with fresh seafood or light spicy dishes. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
