Mocha, coffee, espresso -- oak aging anyone? Crios means offspring, a reference to the winemaker's children and her wines. This is a blend of 40% Malbec, 40% Bonarda, 15% Tannat and 5% Tannat grapes. Polished tannins and black fruit and spice on the finish.

Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Dark, with raspberry, coffee, ripe strawberry, spices, and a touch of cedar. Very silky mouth-feel, where I was expecting rougher tannins from the Tannat and Bonarda grapes. Smoky, blackberry finish.
Winemaker Susana Balbo has planted vineyards at 1,000 metres above sea level for this wine which is made from a blend of 40% Malbec, 40% Bonarda, 15% Tannat and 5% Syrah grapes. - Community Wine reviews
