Vintages Wine Panel: Tavel, in the Southern Rhône, is famous for its lively, flavourful rosés; in fact, this is the only wine style made in the region. These wines were favoured by Louis XIV, and continue to impress today. This ripe, Grenache-centered blend is bursting with attractive red berry fruit, spicy garrigue, and a hint of cranberry, further enlivened by tangy acidity. My note: I buy this wine by the case every year it comes out. Bone-dry and refreshing with aromas of field raspberries and happiness. Mouth-watering and perfect.

Rosé food pairings: gourmet sausages, grilled pork chops, barbecued chicken legs.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
