A pleasant Old World-style Chardonnay with enticing notes of green apples, peaches and oak. Medium-bodied. The Pouilly-Fuissé appellation is regarded as the most coveted and best quality in the Mâconnais region of Burgundy. The Chardonnays are more fruit-driven than oak-driven. The natural rock formation that surrounds the vineyards traps the sunlight and warmth to help ripen the grapes. Highly recommended. Chardonnay food pairings: roasted chicken, grilled fish, grilled pork with thyme, roast quail in a white wine sauce. Charming Grilled Chicken Wine

Awarded a Bronze Medal at the 2012 Decanter World Wine Awards. An affordable taste of impressive complexity, this white Burgundy offers up notions of citrus fruits, honeydew melon, apple, pear and buttered toast with a subtle overtone of baled hay. Racy and fresh with a creamy texture, and waves of fruit lapping gently over the palate till the long, lingering finish. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, May 2013
