Reviews and Ratings

This wine was aged sur lie: bottled without filtering or fining the sediment giving the wine a more mouth-filling, creamier texture and taste. OTHER: Located on the outskirts of Nantes, on a plateau of the town of Basse- Goulaine, the Bois Bruley vineyard has avoided urban sprawl. In the mica-based soil of this “Gallic village,” Bernard Chéreau has created an excellent 2011, draped in elegant pale-gold to brilliant-green hues. The rich palate is caressing and round, with yellow fruit and spices supported by a beautiful frame of acidity. Harmonious, balanced and still full of promise. Drink over the next two years with an exotic dish. Coup de Coeur. Score: 2 (out of 3). Source: Guide Hachette, 2013

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
