Full-bodied with brooding black fruit and a juicy mouth-watering finish. This wine is made mostly from the Tannat grape with about 20% Cabernet Sauvignon to give it structure. It spent a year in barrels which gives it added richness and depth along with some vanilla smoke on the finish. Decant 1 hour. In my mind, I'm going to Madiran ...

Food pairings: pepper steak, hamburgers with all the fixins.
