Natalie's Score: 88/100

Dry and refreshing with notes of fleeting strawberries on a summer breeze. This zesty dry blush is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsaut grapes that uses the saignée method of "bleeding" or siphoning off free-run juice after a short maceration on the skins – 18 hours in this case. The free-run juice is always the best, most flavourful, least rugged from the press of the grapes and results in superior wine like this one. Try with pate or cold chicken sandwiches beside yonder babbling brook.

Rosé food pairings: summer salads, grilled chicken breast, calamari, grilled white fish.

Jane Staples Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A crisp and refreshing pale coral rose with aromas of strawberries and violets from France's Northern Rhone. Who can resist? The palate adds a spicy twist. An excellent sipper on a summer patio with appetizers or a fruit salad. XD 13%
Lovely salmon pink colour here on this bone-dry French rose. Finishes with strawberries and rhubarb. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
