Reviews and Ratings

Gabriel Israel rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

When you buy Tokaji you expect the sweet and very rewarding Hungarian wine. Well, this is not it. It's a dry white. And not similar to any other white varietal. Not a big nose, yet it delivers hints citrus and apricots. On the palate an oily nutty flavor with nice citrus acidity combined with pinapple and lime. The finish of this wine goes on and on and on. What a pleasant surprise.
The nose here is filled with butter and citrus, along with an interesting suggestion of almonds. The palate is dry and offers up some floral and coconut traces, as well as fresh peach pit, orange peel and more almond all supported by a firm seam of racy acidity. It closes with a long finish.
