Gorgeous Bordeaux-like structure and maturity. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and the traditional Bordeaux grapes. Tertiary aromas emerge such as violets, dried tobacco, herbs, leather and cigar box. Superb!

Reviews and Ratings

Glenda rated this wine as 95/100 with the following review:

This De Toren flagship wine is one of the best Bordeaux style wines coming out of South Africa. So popular is it that sales restrictions at the winery were imposed. There are beautiful flavours of spice and blackcurrant in this perfectly balanced blend.
