Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 5, February 26, September 11 and July 26.
Daniel Lenko Viognier 2007 Wine Review
Made from 15-year-old vines, this is an intensely aromatic white with notes of rose petals, lychee, papaya, flint and slate. Aged seven months on the lees added richness to this medium full-bodied wine. A lovely finish. Available from winerydirect.com. 4.4/5 Viognier food pairings: mild to medium curries, salmon, salads, pork, chicken.
