Reviews and Ratings

Sean O'Regan - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Nov 21, 2013: Blind tasting NCSG Vintages pre-release. Deep ruby, nose showing cherry, berry, currant, spice, dusty minerality, chocolate, balsamic note, tobacco, savoury herb/sage notes. Repeat on the palate, savoury, cherry, spice, velvety smooth mouthfeel, tannins still have grip balanced by the fruit and acidity, this should last into the next decade. Food friendly with pasta and meat sauce and grilled/braised beef. Wine flight favorite.
