Reviews and Ratings

Philippe Perreault, Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Made of Pinot Noir (about 60%), completed by Chardonnay (About 40%).

Deep golden color with fine bubble, very persistent.

Aromas of green apple, hazelnut and grapefruit.

The wine is lively, medium-bodied and the finish is long.

Enjoyable now but can be aged 3-4 years yet.

Do not hesitate to match Champagne or any other sparkling with your meal like caviar, truffle or Slices of morel and old comté cheese.

Serve it at 5-6 degrees.
Here's the top cuvee from the Champagne house of Louis Roederer. Cristal often sends rap stars into rapture, but then again, so do Cheetos. Superb craftsmanship. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
