Creekside Estate Winery Riesling 2007 Wine Review
Rather than focus on creating a dry or off-dry style, Creekside makes use of a traditional German nomenclature: "feinherb", to define its Riesling style. Not legally ascribed to any particular sugar level, feinherb instead refers to a balance between sugar, acidity and fruit intensity. A pretty sipper on its own or with a variety of dishes. Light but flavorful. Aromas of white peach, jasmine, lime, field flowers and green apples. Available at the winery. 4.4/5 Riesling food pairings: light grilled fish, spicy Asian dishes, steamed mussels, vegetarian pizza.
