Natalie's Score: 90/100

Fresh field berries on the nose: very enticing. Bold and refreshing with layers of small berry flavours. Dry and mouth-watering. This vivacious rose is a blend of 71% Cabernet Sauvignon and 29% Cabernet Franc grapes, which lends more depth and concentrated flavour of dark field berries and a refreshing finish. Pair with planked salmon.

Cabernet Rosé food pairings: grilled bell peppers, salmon steaks, sausages, lightly savoury cheeses like white cheddar or smoked provolone.

Reviews and Ratings

Neil Phillips rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

This is among the bolder styles of rose.

Medium deep strawberry red in colour, the nose offers a decidedly fruit-forward cornucopia of ripe strawberries, and that lanolin hint.

Palate follows through, with strong strawberries, tart cherry pits, with a creamy mouthfeel, and a slight herb medium+ length finish.

Not bracingly dry, this is a more fruity style than, say, Provence.

Nice apero wine, and has enough depth to stand up to light fare and acidic salads, or grilled salmon.
This robust Niagara rose is a vibrant blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes. Pair with soft cheeses. - Community Wine Reviews
