Natalie's Score: 87/100Italian Primitivio (aka Zinfandel) is tasty and straight-forward with dark fruit. Medium- to full-bodied. Not for analysis; pure quaffing.
Primitivo food pairings: pasta in tomato-based sauce.

|Well priced, the aromas and flavours – espresso roast, mocha, spice and mixed dark berry fruit – are underpinned by moderating acidity and almost imperceptible ripe tannin. It’s medium-bodied and silky smooth with a balanced spicy finish. It ratchets up a notch with food. Score: 3 ½ (out of 5) Source: Vic Harradine, winecurrent.com|
