Lovely juicy flavours of red and black cherries. Medium- to almost full-bodied and extremely smooth and supple. You can't beat the quality for this price.

Pinot Noir food pairings: pasta, grilled poultry, seafood and mild fish.

More Wine Reviews and Ratings

J rated this wine as 100/100 with the following review:

Nice fully flavored, a little acidity. Enjoyed and would buy again
Jessica Nagy rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Colour/Clarity: A bright, fuchsia wine like fresh berry juice, very light and clear. Not much change in colour from the centre out to the walls of the glass with a completely transparent meniscus.

Nose: On the first inhalation I smell exactly what I see: fresh, tart raspberry, blackberry and currant. After a bit of air and agitation, the earthy, leatheriness you find in older world styles starts to emerge. A nice combination of fruit and more tertiary aromas.

Flavour profile: The first sip is very tart and I am immediately overwhelmed by the acidity. This is likely because the wine is still quite cool. It’s very smooth and soft with no tannins to speak of—typical of many pinot noirs. It definitely needs more than a few minutes of air to open up.
Dressed in fresh purple red colour, this is a voluptuous Pinot Noir with rich fruit notes of cherry, raspberry, plum and strawberry – a red fruit party! – enhanced by subtle smoked hints. In mouth sweet fruit notes stand out, and its fine tannins give it a great texture and a mouth filling structure. Balanced and New World styled, this is a wine of personality and elegance. Sexy, pure and simple, it’s a young and refreshing Pinot.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
