A full-bodied, mouth-filling, satisfying red wine from Washington State. Aromas of dark fruit and toasty oak. Les Chevaux (French for "the horses") is named for the wild horses that once roamed the Hose Heaven Hills wine region. This robust Washington State red wine is a blend of 60% Syrah, 27% Merlot and several other lesser amounts of red grapes. Smooth and tasty. Perfect for meat lovers' pizza or grilled steak.

Food pairings: game meats, rare roast beef, spice-braised lamb, cheddar.

Washington State's H3 Les Chevaux (2012) is so named for the wild horses (les chevaux) that wandered the Horse Heaven Hills wine region. Lucky horses. The wine is mainly a blend of Syrah and Merlot. Lucky us!. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
