Clos Du Bois Reserve Chardonnay 2009
Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 5, February 26, September 11 and July 26.
Clos Du Bois Reserve Chardonnay 2009 Wine Review
A luscious, round, full-bodied Chardonnay with generous aromas and flavours of green apple, hazelnut and butterscotch. A wisp of toasty oak weaves it way throughout and to the finish. Very Frank Sinatra: they did it their way. 4.6/5 Chardonnay food pairings: roast chicken, corn dishes, lobster in butter.

|Showing a brilliant silvery-straw hue, this Chardonnay has pronounced aromas of spiced|
apple, tangerine and jasmine, with notes of oak spice and nutmeg, leading into bright ripe pear, citrus and vanilla flavors. Rich and creamy, the acidity is balanced and the lush oak well integrated, creating an elegant Chardonnay of exceptional character.
