Plush, juicy and richly flavoured southern French red wine from the heart of the Rhone Valley in Châteauneuf-du-Pape where up to 13 grapes comprise the blend. Smooth with the pleasant bite of dark pepper. Pair with brontosaurus burgers.

Châteauneuf-Du-Pape food pairings: grilled bison strip steaks, spice-braised lamb, veal chops.

Reviews and Ratings

Courtil and Thibaut, Proprietors and growers are one of the few Châteauneuf du Pape producers who make a single wine. The blend for the Clos Des Brusquières (2013) Châteauneuf du Pape is 80% Grenache with the balance in Syrah and Mourvèdre. Grapevines are 85 years of age. The wine is aged different vessels, depending the grape variety. Lots of vibrant red fruit, smoke and minerality on this typical, Burgundian-style Pape. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
