A wine of great distinction, good bones and great breeding. This estate keeps yields at harvest under 25 hectoliters per hectare. As a result production is small: for this wine, only a 1,000 cases were produced. It’s a blend of 85% Merlot and 15% old vine Cabernet Franc. The 2005 was a spectacular one for Bordeaux and it shows in this wine. Aromas of black cherries, plums, anise, bacon fat, dried herbs and cigar box.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
