Natalie's Score: 90/100

Viognier's home is in the northern Rhone Valley, but it also thrives in California, especially in Sonoma. Viognier is known for its exotic and vibrantly perfumed aromatics. Lychee and rosewater and baking spices, especially nutmeg. An aromatic, floral white wine with good balance and a nice finish. Try it with mild curries and Asian dishes. Good price.

Viognier food pairings: crab cakes with mango chutney, mild curries, pork tenderloin en croute..

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lovely aromas of peach, apricot and white florals and rich, honeyed fruit palate with lingering peach finish. Try with Vietnamese fare.

This 2015 Viognier from the North Coast of California (Cline Cellars) is a brilliant gold colour with honey, ripe stonefruit and fruit salad on the nose and even more so on the palate. Simply Lovely. - Community Wine Reviews

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
