One of my favourite tawny port producers! This lovely toffee-rich, toasted almond wonder is a superb after-dinner drink or pair it with crème brûlée or biscotti.

April reviewed this wine as follows:

adding because it maybe port
Unlike Vintage Ports, which only spend 2 years in oak before bottling, Colheita Tawnies spend a minimum of 7 years – this one spent a whopping 13! It’s ready to drink now and showing in top form. Beautifully made. Filled with prune, raisin, chocolate, dates, cedar and spice on the nose and the mouth. Sweet, rich, ripe and ready to drink. Especially good with blue-veined cheeses. Astounding value. Source: Vintages Wine Panel

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
