Lovely white floral notes with some peach. Medium-bodied and mouth-watering. Good price. Pair with medium curries and spiced dishes.

Viognier food pairings: moderately spiced Indian curry.

Spectacular Spicy Wine

Lodi is known for producing exceptionally fragrant Viognier, a reputation well represented by this 2011 offering from Clay Station. Aromas of ripe pear, apple and peach rise from the glass accompanied by a wonderful white blossom note. Medium bodied, soft, fresh, and crisp on the palate, with a sweet fruity core and a lovely dry finish. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, July 2012
