A savoury, full-bodied red with black fruit flavours. Straight-forward pleasure.

This classic Malbec won a Gold Medal at the 2011 Concours International des Vins in Lyon, France. This is a stellar introduction to Cahors. The nose showcases black cherry and plum, as well as some spicy notes. The full-bodied palate is again densely packed with black-fruit flavours and some chalky mineral notes. Crisp acidity and medium tannins provide the framework and the length is impressively long. This is a great value. Source: Vintages Wine Panel
