Attractive black fruit, smoke, black pepper and black plum on the nose and palate. A mouth-fillingly rich, smooth and supple texture on the palate. Savoury, meaty notes on the finish. Pair with hamburgers.

Shiraz food pairings: lamb cutlets, espresso and cocoa-rubbed flank steak, black bean soup, cheese.

The Australian winery Château Tanunda was established in the 1880s and today is a designated historical monument in Australia's Register of State Heritage Places. A consistently great producer of a range of wines. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
