A terrific red, especially at this price point. I love the black raspberry, anise and cedar smoke aromas. It’s so vibrant and alive in the glass, yet delivers full-bodied depth and length. There are more dark fruit and smoky notes on the finish. This wine is a blend of grenache (60%), syrah (30%), mourvèdre (5%) and carignan (5%). Decant 1 hour. I'm thinking of barbecued spare ribs for this wine. Food pairings: sesame beef & broccoli stir-fry, duck a l'orange, apple-walnut stuffed mushroom caps, herbs & fruit turkey breasts, low fat beef stroganoff. Best Beef Wine
