Natalie's Score: 92/100Classic and complex. Needs some cellar time as well as decanting 2 hours once opened. Aromas of mocha and toast from the oak aging on the nose mingle beautifully with the dark fruit and violets. Multiple layers and satisfaction. Great dinner party wine.
Food pairings: filet mignon, coffee-rubbed steak. Best Beef Wine

I loved this Bordeaux with its Mocha flavours, big rich fruits in the glass and toasty oak. I enjoyed this wine with a pot roast done in the slow cooker and it was a match made in heaven.

The 2010 Grand Cru Château Pipeau has intense notes of black cherry, pine, cigar box, clove, vanilla and faint leather. It is a medium bodied, extra-dry, integrated wine; BALANCED with good acidity, grippy tannins (decant for 30+ min) and a long to extra-long finish. Enjoy this wine on-its-own; drink now – 2020+. My impression: BEAUTIFUL to DIVINE, 92+ pts – recommended for its quality. Tasted Nov/13.

Amazing sweet spices with loads of yummy dark fruit in this young Bordeaux. Molasses cookies, ginger snaps, blueberries, mineral, quite simply a relatively complex crowd pleaser that will pair well with a wide range of food or drink beautifully on its own.
