Delicious! Full-bodied and bursting with black fruit aromas like black plums and wild tiny blackberries. Smoke and dried herbs wrap around a satisfying finish. Terrific with brisket.

Winner of a Gold Medal at the 2011 Concours Général Agricole in Paris. The daughter of winegrowers, and returned to the family vineyard after studying sociology and political science, Alexia Eymas has much to be proud of. Her 2009 red evokes enthusiasm through the clarity of its fruit and freshness. “A very Loire style,” says Manuel Peyrondet, sommelier at the Hotel Royal Monceau in Paris. Score: Coup de Coeur.
