This Sauternes look-alike has a very attractive lemon-yellow gold colour that leads to a nose filled with aromas of English marmalade, wild honey and spice cupboard. Medium sweet, complex and equally spectacular on the palate as it was on the nose. Still very ageable (5-7+ years) with a long, vibrant, sweet/spicy marmalade finish. If only they could bottle this ... oh wait, they did! Enjoy on its own, with foie gras, or another equally rich course. Source: Vintages Wine Panel
