Blockbuster bargain Bordeaux! Wow. Mocha dark chocolate with toasty oak and black fruit. Balanced, rich and deep. I dare you to find a better Bordeaux at this price.

This will drink beautifully until 2020. If enjoying tonight, decant. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, undated. The appearance, dark and brilliant; bouquet, delicate and well-balanced between fruity and woody; palate, structured but still elegant; long finish; all evidence of a job well done and announces a most interesting bottle, as soon as the tannins have been rounded, in three or four years. Score: 2 (out of 3) (Remarkable Wine) Source: Guide Hachette, 2013

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
